- currently a resident of Lakeview, Oregon, I was born in San Francisco, where I lived until just after I graduated from Polytechnic High School, in 1956 (Class of fall '55) Since that time my wife and I have lived in Houston, Texas, Granby, Colorado, and our current home in Lakeview. We raised seven children, have twenty three grandchildren, currently, thirteen great grandchildren. I have been a member of Jerry B. Jenkins' Christian Writer's Guild and also a member of Faith Writers. I started writing novels and short stories in 2008. Before that, I wrote an opinion column for the now defunct Sierra Times, an online news source. I have been told that two things we should never talk about in polite company are religion and politics. I whole heartedly disagree. The two most important things that effect how we live are those two things we are supposed to avoid. My interest is in trying to enlighten, not through fact, but by the use of fiction to illustrate some hypothetical problems that we are all faced with, or could be.
